Conflict of interest

This project is authored by Ryan Pepple, who owns CalmGut (operating as SHUVEN), a gut-brain axis supplement brand. CalmGut/SHUVEN products compete directly with several products scored in this report. Mitigations:

• The rubric was written and committed to version control before any product data was collected. The commit history in this repository is the record.
• No criterion rewards any attribute specific to the author's own products.
• Products in which the author has a commercial interest are excluded from the ranking and scored separately in an appendix, using the identical rubric. The appendix is a physically separate file (appendix-scores.csv, and appendix-*.csv for the full run) sharing the ranked file's header, so no ranking, mean, or count computed over the ranked data can include an author-owned product without a deliberate choice to combine the two files.
