Pilot scorecard
Seed DS-01 Daily Synbiotic
Seed scored 2 out of 6 for label disclosure under methodology v1.7, read from the label as captured on 2026-09-07.
Why it scored this way
Four probiotic blends disclose blend totals (224/36/36/13 mg) but no per-strain amounts.
MAPP pomegranate extract stated as >40% polyphenolic + phenolic bioactives — an earned point, not the default.
All 24 organisms carry strain designations (B. longum SD-BB536-JP, L. rhamnosus HRVD113-US, etc.); first product in the pilot to take this point under v1.6.
Under methodology v1.7. Previously 1, on the DS-01 finished-product trials. Those no longer set the range: they dose a whole multi-ingredient synbiotic, so the GI benefit cannot be attributed to the pomegranate component, and their authors include manufacturer employees while an independent ingredient-level range exists. Scored instead against that independent range — 320-656 mg phenolics — which the label's 400 mg at >40% meets only to a floor of about 160 mg, at or below the dose an independent dose-response trial found null (PMID 27879044). Probiotics excluded per methodology.
No publicly accessible third-party certificate of analysis located 2026-09-07 (product page, brand site, site-scoped search, retail listing images); recorded as a negative finding, not a claim that none exists.
Serving size 2 ViaCaps stated but servings per container is absent from the panel.
The evidence
Scores are read from the live label, captured by screenshot on the date shown. A score describes what the label discloses. It says nothing about whether the product works, and nothing here was lab-tested.
